About EEMinds

Energizing & Empowering Minds (EEMinds) is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization that provides evidence-based programs uniquely designed to help families that have a child or teen/young adult with a special need, disability, or chronic complex medical condition.

Our programs have been running for over 26 years and have served thousands of parents and healthcare/medical professionals across the USA and the globe.

We served the hemophilia and bleeding disorder community with our original programs that were named, Parents Empowering Parents or PEP. In 2020, we updated our programs to serve parents of children with any special need, disability or chronic complex medical condition and re-branded our programs as Empact Parenting.

How have we been able to do it? We have a network of certified Empact Parenting facilitators and we partner with state organizations, treatment centers, hospitals, and parent support groups to bring programs to their parents. Our programs have been designed to be delivered with integrity and consistency. Our programs can conducted virtually, as hybrids (part virtual, part in-person), and in-person.

Our certified facilitators are typically social workers, counselors, nurses, teachers and parents of children with special needs, disabilities, or complex chronic medical conditions.

To conduct and support programs, we either provide certified facilitators from our network or train local teams to become facilitators. If you want to learn more about scheduling programs for your hospital or organization, please contact us at info@eeminds.org.

We connect parents with other parents. Long after our parents have graduated from a program, EEMinds encourages and actively connects parents with other parents who are facing the same kinds of challenges in their families. Families in our parent network support each other through with perspectives from parents who are farther along in their journey helping parents who are new to their situation.
