Brian Duffourc
(Parent, National Team)
Brian is a dedicated husband and father of 6 children ages 2-12. Brian and his family live in Metro Detroit, Michigan. When not at his day job as a Web Developer, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
Brian’s oldest child was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, known as VonWillebrand disease, at age 1. After learning of his child’s diagnosis, Brian and his wife wanted to understand all they could about his bleeding disorder, what it would mean for his future, and how it would affect them as parents. Part of that learning process led them to attending their first PEP/Empact Parenting program in 2008. Inspired by what they learned as participants, they decided to become trained facilitators. Brian has facilitated multiple Empact Parenting programs in his local community, as well as throughout the United States. He enjoys meeting other parents, learning their stories, and helping them with parenting tips and advice.
